She has provided structural solutions for multistory office buildings, adaptive reuse and modifications to industrial buildings and developed crane beam analysis programs.

Insurance Institute for Highway Safety

Greene County, Virginia - Structural Engineer responsible for the design of a 108,000 SF state-of-the-art vehicle crash test facility, including the design of a 320,000 pound moveable crash barrier.

Union Bankshares Operations Center

Caroline County, Virginia - Lead Structural Engineer for the design of 70,000 SF operations center. The facility received LEED certification.


Henrico County, Virginia

Alfa Laval

Richmond, Virginia - Structural Engineer responsible for 77,000 SF office and manufacturing facility, and 92,000 SF addition. The design included a pile-supported foundation for 20,000 metric ton forming press.

Commonwealth Enterprise Solutions Center / Northrop Grumman

Chesterfield and Russell Counties, Virginia - Lead Structural Engineer for both the Chesterfield and Russell County information technology buildings designed and built for Northrop Grumman / Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA). The 190,000 SF data center in Chesterfield County is classified as a Tier III facility. The facility in Russell County is a Tier II facility designed to be upgraded to a Tier III later.

Enterchange at Northlake

Hanover County, Virginia - Structural Engineer for four buildings: each structure is approximately 250,000 SF in size. The buildings consist of structural steel frames supported on shallow, reinforced concrete foundations. The exterior of each structure is of precast concrete panels.

Enterchange at Hampton

Hampton, Virginia - Structural Engineer for two logistics buildings and the Food Bank. The logistics buildings total 702,000 SF and are 36' clear with 6" floors. The Food Bank is 28' clear inside with 6" floors.

Interport Business Center

Richmond, Virginia - Structural Engineer for the reconstruction of an existing obsolete building with only 12-foot interior clear height. Work included determination of salvageable material for reuse, demolition of the existing roof frame, reassembly of the building with taller columns on the existing foundations and extending the exterior walls to provide an interior 24-foot clear height for warehouse/light industrial space.

Maple Leaf Bakery

Roanoke, Virginia - Structural Engineer on 50,000 SF expansion of the existing production plant and office located in the Roanoke Centre for Industry and Technology. The expansion involved the addition of two (2) production lines, a quality control laboratory, training facilities and a -10 degree Fahrenheit freezer.
